*Funkadelicious people* come CELEBRATE the manifestation of our LOVE creation…the birth of our album Rock On Sat Nam!
It’s finally here and we want to celebrate and rock the Shakti like nobody’s business with our LA Tribe!
We’ve got some wonderful things planned:
Mamajoi Ji and Kataka Gara will be opening the night with a sacred sound bath of didgeridoo and Hang drum, and our dear friend and Peruvian Shaman, Moises Aragon, will perform a blessing ritual for all of us.
…We’ll be gifted with a musical offering from our dear friends Tony Moss, Miranda Rondeau, and Sunny Solwind, their band is called COR and like us, they spread a message of Love and Unity.
Then of course Shakti Tribe will perform with some very special guests
$20 love offering at the door. Your contribution helps us further the work we do in the world. No one will be turned away due to lack of funds.
We will have snacks at the event. If you would like to bring a food contribution from your heart to share with the community, potluck-style, that will be so welcomed.
And yes, OF COURSE we will have our new CD Rock On Sat Nam! available at the event. Also some artist/vendor friends will be displaying their beautiful sacred design wares and wears.
Come sing, dance and blast your buddha-liciousness into the starry night with us!

SAT NAM is sanskrit for True Name, or True Identity. Ours is a pro-active message of Love, transmitted through the energetic power of sanskrit mantra and the potent vibration of rock and roll. And we truly feel our new album Rock On Sat Nam! is a bold voice in support of the highest vision of our True Identity – as individuals, and collectively as humanity – as Children of the Most High!
We are celebrating this very special occasion at Oshunmare, a beautiful sanctuary up in the mountains of Topanga Canyon. Beyond the striking beauty you would expect to find in the hills of Topanga, Oshunmare is a very special place, a birthing portal to the New World. Many sacred ceremonies of different traditions are held at Oshunmare, and the energy here is potent. It is a perfect magical location to celebrate this “next phase” of Shakti Tribe’s trajectory as a band and as a movement.

I am compiling my annual best of 2011 mantra/kirtan music list. I was gone for the summer and missed all of the releases that came out. Recently someone mentioned your new album. Could you mail me a copy or at least send me the mp3s? I will include them in airplay.

We were lucky to have spotted BJ on our maintoun last night and this morning .we often have the pleasure of spotting dear, fox, coyotes and maintoun lions which are beautiful and inspiring but BJ’s presence was a gift. As he hiked by we shared some morning pleasantries. He shouted out bjwalksamerica.com as we drove off. I quickly found the site on my phone and my husband and i checked out the site. I can only say that I hope many more folks get lucky enough to spot BJ and find their hearts filled with his inspiring journey thanks BJ and godspeed.
