After years of performing in the world of pop-rock I became so affected by 9/11 and the deep division that ensued as a result of it that I
decided that it was time to take my knowledge of music and songwriting and apply this to a "peace project." I have taken sacred texts from the worlds major
religions that focus on the teachings of peace and love and wrote music to highlight these "peace prayers". Using the kirtan format, an ancient east-Indian
form of call and response music makes the prayers audience participation thus turning the listener into an active participant. This helps the audience to
integrate what is being sung.
My hope is that these "Peace Prayers" will educate and inspire many people to see the common theme of peace and love that runs throughout and
permeates the world religions. And with this realization we will become more open and less fearful of people and traditions that are unfamiliar, thus helping
to promote peace and unity.
We sing these Peace Prayers in languages such as English, Sanskrit, Arabic, and Aramaic in an effort to respect and honor the sacred texts
of various religious traditions.
You can help spread these peace prayers too by referring us to your school, church, synagogue, Mosque, and Temple. You may know of an event or
festival that would be a perfect venue for sharing these messages of peace. Also, if you have a group of friends that would like to learn these prayers we

Building Peace and Community through Yoga

I teach a class called Prema Shakti Yoga. It is Kundalini based- heart opening. On the physical level this class strengthens the nervous
system, helps to develop flexibility, boosts the electro magnetic field, and aids in the release of toxins. On the emotional level we delve into
releasing old patterns that no longer serve us, consciously work on opening the heart center thus creating a safe space to develop deeper intimacy with our self
and others. On the spiritual level we are connecting deeply to the divine within and without. We consciously work with the light, nourishing and filling
ourselves with this love then focusing this expansive field of light around the world. This class encourages complete breakthroughs and is for those who
are ready to go to the next level in every area of life.

We play regularly with Mirabai Devi, an international spiritual teacher and dear friend, whose mission it is to raise world consciousness and bring a profound sense
of freedom and clarity to see our soul's purpose on earth (dharma). She is pure heart. Through her example of unconditional love and compassion we are given the
opportunity to experience that within ourselves. This catalyzes our own ability to "be the change we wish to see in the world." We are honored to help create a sacred space that is
